Education is the gateway to success for all children, regardless of race, creed, nationality, religion, or orientation. Educational systems serve our community to provide the indiscriminate opportunity to educate each child to the best of their ability. A specific function of the Ohio Migrant Education Center (OMEC) is to assist school districts that serve migrant children in their effort to create a learning environment that will foster success. The Center has supplemental materials available for teachers to use with their ESL migrant population. Feel free to browse our site for web resources, OMEC information, and information on migrant education in Ohio, or call our office at 1-800-332-7505. Let us know how we can help you.
